There was speculation that he was set to re-sign with the Dragons, and now, that has just happened – with Dragons centre Josh Morris re-signing with the club until the end of the 2015 NRL season.

Morris, who is originally from Kiama, has played in 107 NRL games to date, after he made his debut in Round 9 of the 2006 NRL season.

Morris, who has represented both Australia and NSW, is pleased to have extended his contract with the Dragons, and is looking forward to working under new coach, Steve Price.

“I’ve always wanted to continue my playing career with the Dragons having played all my junior football in and around the Illawarra area,” said Morris.

“I’m looking forward to working under Head Coach Steve Price, who has a lot of fresh ideas for the direction of the team, and can’t wait for the season to start.”

Peter Doust, Dragons CEO is pleased that Morris made the decision to re-sign with the Dragons club.

“Brett is an important member of our playing group and we are very happy he has chosen to extend his career here with the Club,” said Doust.

“Brett is a local junior who has contributed to our club on the field and I am sure our Red V Members, Partners and fans will be equally as pleased that he has extended his term.”
