In an added boost for the city of Perth, with their bid for an NRL team well and truly underway – the Manly Sea Eagles have announced that they will take their Rd 21 clash with the New Zealand Warriors to Patersons Stadium in Perth, scheduled to be played on Sat July 28.

The clash will allow both teams to increase their own awareness in rugby league, and will give Perth fans the chance to watch footy that they so desperately crave – with both teams able to have the chance to increase their fan-bases.

“We have a fan base in Perth, as do the Warriors, and this is a great opportunity for us to attract new members and add to our corporate partner network,” said Chief Operating Officer, David Perry.

“We know there’s a big appetite for rugby league in Western Australia and Patersons Stadium is an impressive venue so we’ll be expecting a big crowd.”

“While we’re excited about this unique opportunity for the club, clearly our preference is still to play as many home games at Brookvale Oval as financially possible.”

Kickoff on the day will be at 5:30pm local time in Perth.
