Players can have all the talent in the world, but with a bad attitude, they can often make wrong decisions leading to their sacking – and for Joseph 'BJ' Leilua, a centre at the Sydney Roosters, that has happened, with the club sacking him.
Leilua, who represented the City Origin side earlier this year, has been released from the last two years of his contract, although the club made no mention as to why the man nicknamed BJ, was released.
Despite that, however, it is believed that his sacking came as a result of not only off-field behaviour, but concerns from new coach Trent Robinson regarding Leilua's attitude at training.
Leilua's most recent off-field incident, saw him send lewd photos of an ex-girlfriend to her brother and a friend – an incident that saw him face court, and given a 1-year good behaviour bond.
