He may not be the first cab off the rank, but that has not stopped Gold Coast Titans hooker Beau Falloon from being keen for a contract extension at the club.
It was just last year when Falloon joined the Titans from his former club, the South Sydney Rabbitohs, but since his move to the Gold Coast, he is keen to stay at the club, wanting to not only make amends, but also excited at what lies ahead for the Titans.
With an injury disrupted year that saw him play towards the end of the year, Falloon is now fully recovered from his previous torn bicep injury, as he looks forward to what the Titans can achieve.
“It's definitely exciting. We've got a great forward pack there, it's full of Origin players, representative players that have played for Australia and they are all leaders in their own right,” Falloon said.
“Our forwards are a big part of our side and playing behind them is going to be unreal.”
Whilst he is off-contract, Falloon is eager to stay on the Gold Coast and will do what he can to make that happen.
“I'm off contract … I haven't sorted anything out yet but hopefully we can nut something out in the future,” he said.
“I'm happy here and I want to stay here.
“I love the club, love the boys around here, love the coaching staff, so I don't want to go anywhere else.”
