Sponsorships in this day and age of rugby league are crucial, and Canadian rugby league have acted quickly to get a partnership up and running, today announcing that Foster’s Lager, an Australian beer, will be forming a partnership with their side.
Foster’s Lager will become the official beer of the Canada Wolverines with CRL Chairman Eric Perez excited at the new venture between the two entities.
“Foster’s is synonymous with Australia, and so is Rugby League,” said Perez.
“Rugby League and Foster’s, It makes sense that these two iconic Australian brands team up in the fastest growing market in Rugby League.”
Foster’s Director of Marketing in Canada, Keith Fawcett, is pleased that the organisation have agreed to a partnership with Canadian rugby league.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Canada Rugby League,” said Fawcett.
“It’s a fast paced, aggressive sport that is a great fit with the Australian heritage of Fosters. We are looking forward to working with Eric and his team to help grow the profile of the sport in Canada”
