Kevin Larroyer

On-loan for the duration of the entire 2014 season at Hull KR, French international Kevin Larroyer will remain in Hull, after they agreed a deal with the Catalan Dragons.

In signing a new 1-year loan deal with Hull KR, the 25-year-old French back-rower has enjoyed his time in Hull so far and is keen to continue playing for them.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club this year,” said Larroyer.

“I’ve settled in really easily and everybody has made me feel welcome, so I’m excited to be staying.

“I spoke to the Dragons and explained that I wanted to stay at Hull Kingston Rovers and they understood the reasons why.

“I feel like I’ve improved a lot this year but I know I’ve still got more in me.”

With Larroyer off-contract from the Dragons side at the end of 2015, Hull KR are open to signing him long-term.

Hull KR coach Chris Chester is pleased that the club have managed to retain Larroyer on loan for 2015.

“I’m absolutely delighted that Kev has decided to stay at Hull KR,” said Chester.

“He’s played 80 minutes each week for most of the year and he’s been one of our most consistent performers every time he has taken to the field.

“We’re grateful to Catalan for allowing him to stay and I’m sure there is even more to come from him in 2015.”
