Chris Grevsmuhl

Already headed to Penrith from the 2017 season, the South Sydney Rabbitohs made the decision to release Chris Grevsmuhl effective immediately from his contract.

Playing in 29 games for the club since his debut in 2015, this season obviously would have been the back-rower’s last for the Souths club before joining Penrith.

Shane Richardson, the club’s General Manager of Football offered a brief statement, wishing the departing Grevsmuhl good fortune.

“Chris has developed his skills into an NRL footballer at our Club since making his debut at the beginning of last season,” said Richardson.

“We wish him the best of luck in the future.”
