Paul Carter

Paul Carter’s off-field troubles have been well documented in the past and after being sacked by both the Gold Coast Titans and the South Sydney Rabbitohs, he has received a final life-line.

Signed by the Sydney Roosters for the 2017 season, Carter is a former Australian Schoolboy, NSW Under 20’s and NSW Residents representative.

To date, he has played in 36 NRL games. The Roosters are well aware of his past issues and acknowledge that he has to work through them.

Despite that, they are pleased to sign Carter knowing how much ability he has.

“Paul has been working very hard on himself away from football, and we will continue to support those efforts,” said Roosters CEO John Lee.

“There’s no denying Paul’s ability as a footballer, and we believe playing in the Roosters system can help his continued development both on and off the field,” he added.

Carter will officially join the Roosters in November for pre-season training.
