Ignoring the overtures of rival clubs, Jaydn Su’A has opted to remain with the Brisbane Broncos for two more seasons.
With Jamayne Isaako and Payne Haas already re-signing, it continues an impressive retention bonanza for the club.
In what has been a great year for Su’A individually, the back-rower has played for much of the season and drawn praise from the fans.
Although his season has ended early due to a broken ankle, Su’A is excited at what lies ahead for him at the club.
“I have just signed for two years for the Brisbane Broncos and it is pretty overwhelming,” he said.
“I have two big years ahead of me now and I am really excited.”
The aim for Su’A prior to the start of the year was just playing as often as possible and performing well.
“Overall, in the 2018 season, I really enjoyed playing each and every week – that was my main goal for this year,” the back-rower continued.
“And although I didn’t finish off the season, I will be back.”
