A new deal for Josh Aloiai will see him remain at the Wests Tigers until the end of the 2021 season.
Since making his first-grade debut for the Tigers in 2016, Aloiai has gone from strength to strength.
His form has seen him become a mainstay of the Tigers side, as well as appearing for Samoa on two occasions.
Pleased to have the new deal sorted, it was a combination of coach Michael Maguire and the club’s direction that convinced him to re-sign.
“I’m really excited to announce that I’ve signed for two more years,” Aloiai said.
“There’s a couple of really strong reasons that have kept me at the club: one is Michael Maguire and the direction he’s taking the club, and two is the loyal fans that we have.
“I cannot thank them enough for their love and support.
As for himself on a personal level, Aloiai feels like he has improved and wants to keep getting better.
“Particularly this year, I feel I’ve grown a lot and am happy with the improvements I’ve been making,” the young forward continued.
“I want to keep doing that and I’m so happy that I can do that here at Wests Tigers.”
