New Canterbury Bulldogs signing Corey Waddell

The Canterbury Bulldogs have strengthened their forward pack with the signing of Manly Sea Eagles back-rower Corey Waddell.

Appearing in 34 NRL games to date with Manly, Waddell brings professionalism and hard-running to the Bulldogs club.

Waddell is no stranger to incoming Bulldogs coach Trent Barrett with the two working together at the Penrith Panthers.

Bulldogs CEO Andrew Hill is pleased to add a player like Waddell to their roster.

“We are continuing to construct our squad for 2021 and beyond and Corey will be an important part of that process,” said Hill.

“He is a hard-working footballer who is a strong defender and someone who will bring additional quality and depth to our forward pack.

We look forward to Corey joining us next season.”
