Proving his skills in 2020, Bradman Best will get to do it for several more years at the Newcastle Knights after re-signing with the club.
Best’s new deal will see him remain at the Knights until the end of 2024.
It was back in 2016 when the Knights signed Best as a 15-year old and since then, he has come through the club ranks and impressed at all levels.
Just weeks after his eighteenth birthday, Best burst onto the scene and made the centre spot his own while impressing club legends.
With the season around the corner, the news is good for Knights fans and the club is equally pleased.
“We’re extremely thrilled to extend Bradman’s contract until the end of 2024,” Knights Head of Recruitment Clint Zammit said.
“He’s a wonderful person and local product who has worked his way through our system and will be a long-term player at our Club.”
With his long-term future secure, Best is keen to return from injury in 2021 and get stuck into footy.
“I’m really happy to secure my future and am proud to be Knight until 2024,” he said.
“I love this club. So does my family, with both Newcastle and the Central Coast being a home for us.
“We are just over the moon and now I can’t wait to get out on McDonald Jones Stadium in front of big crowds again”.
