Still only 17, Paul Alamoti is seemingly destined for big things in the NRL and for the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Knowing how talented he is, the club has sought to re-sign for at least two more seasons until the end of 2023.

A local junior through the Milperra Colts set up, Alamoti has starred for the Bulldogs SG Ball and Harold Matts sides.

As the Bulldogs look to grow and rebuild as a side, youngsters are key and coach Trent Barrett believes Alamoti can thrive in the club environment.

“Paul is a great prospect and we are pleased that he has chosen to stay with the Bulldogs and be part of our system.

“He is a good kid who is keen to learn and develop and we think that the structures that we have in place here will help his growth as a player.

We look forward to having him here and for people to get to see what an explosive player he is.”
