On the back of a two-try performance in the side’s win over the Melbourne Storm, Maika Sivo has re-signed with the Parramatta Eels.

Sivo, who will play in his 50th NRL match in round four later this year, has signed on until the end of 2023.

With 39 tries to date so far, he has quickly become a fan favourite and has drawn comparisons to former Eels player, Fijian Semi Radradra.

Knowing how important he is to the side as they look to retain their nucleus, Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos spoke highly of Sivo.

“Maika has played an important role in our team over the last two seasons and we are delighted that he will continue to bring excitement to our Members and fans, especially at Bankwest Stadium.”

Sivo was the 2019 Ken Irvine Medallist and also represent Fiji at the inaugural World Cup Nines in 2020.
