Speculation was rife about an NRL return for Jackson Hastings and from 2022, it will happen when he joins the Wests Tigers.
Hastings will sign on with the Tigers for two seasons, as they look to find the missing piece in their halves puzzle.
Playing in 47 NRL games for the Sydney Roosters and Manly Sea Eagles in his first stint, Hastings made the jump to the Super League where he has excelled.
He guided Salford to their first Super League Grand final, has won the Man of Steel award, and was selected for Great Britain.
With his game much better now than it was, the Tigers will hope he can bring his stellar form to them from 2022.
Tigers coach Michael Maguire is excited to add a talent like Hastings to the club.
“I’m really looking forward to welcoming Jackson to our squad in 2022,” Maguire said.
“Jackson’s shown himself to be an extremely competitive player and someone who wants to prove himself in the NRL.
“We’re looking forward to him adding to our club and squad in the 2022 season and beyond.”
