Withdrawn offers and interest from rivals, Nathan Brown and his potential Parramatta Eels stay had its ups and downs.

Though in a boost for the Parramatta Eels, Nathan Brown has re-signed with the club for a further two seasons.

The new deal will see Brown, a NSW Origin player from last year, stay with the Eels until the end of 2023.

Since joining the Eels in 2017, Brown has become a mainstay firebrand of the side and won the 2017 Ken Thornett Medal.

Eels General Manager of Football knows how invaluable Brown is to the Eels side and their premiership credentials.

“I would like to congratulate Nathan on his new deal which is exciting news for our members and fans,” said O’Neill.

“From a team perspective, Nathan adds a level of aggression needed to compete at NRL level and is a vital part of our squad as we strive for a premiership.

“He loves playing in the big games and was rewarded with selection in the NSW Origin squad in 2020,” he said.”

Brown also represented Italy at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.
