His chance at the Manly Sea Eagles came when injuries struck but Toafofoa Sipley has taken it with both hands and performed.
Sipley, who has played 22 NRL games for the Manly Sea Eagles since 2018, has become a reliable bench forward for Manly coach Des Hasler.
Sipley’s debut in the NRL came in 2016 with the New Zealand Warriors but he has found a new lease on life at the Sea Eagles.
As a result, Sipley has re-signed with the club until the end of 2023 and he could not be happier.
“I feel there is something very special building here at Manly under Coach Des Hasler,” said Sipley.
I can’t wait to further develop my game under Des and play my part in hopefully winning a premiership with this great team.”
Sipley’s impact cannot be understated as he currently averages over 100m per game off the bench.
