On the eve of their clash with the South Sydney Rabbitohs tomorrow, the Parramatta Eels have re-signed both Mitchell Moses and Ryan Matterson.

After much conjecture over their futures, the duo has committed to the Eels.

Moses, who was linked to several clubs prior to taking up his initial club option, will now remain in the Eels colours until the end of 2024.

Moses, who joined the Eels midway through 2017, has become a key figure of the club and the transformation.

With the club now invested in the 2019 Ken Thornett medallist, they look forward to seeing Moses lead the Eels towards possible premiership glory.

“I would like to congratulate Mitch on his new deal which is exciting news for everyone at the Club, in particular, our members and fans,” said Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill.

“Mitch is an integral part of the team, he is in career-best form and has developed not only as a player but as a leader as well.

“We are excited that Mitch will continue to lead our squad in the coming years as we aim for a premiership.”

O’Neill also went on to praise Matterson for taking up his option with his back-row experience continuing to prove invaluble.

“Ryan is also part of our Player Leadership Group, has played over 100 NRL matches and is adding great value both on and off the field,” O’Neill said.
