Every team needs unheralded players able to step up and perform and Brodie Jones was that man for the Newcastle Knights.
Jones, who is still only 23, has been a breath of fresh air off the bench for Adam O’Brien’s Newcastle side.
After playing seven games in his debut season, Jones has become a mainstay of the Knights team and has a popular following.
Jones is pleased to have his future sorted with the club until 2023.
“I’m very happy to have resigned for the club,” Jones said.
“I love this Club, and this is where I want to be.”
Newcastle is a proud team when it comes to junior retention and Head of Recruitment Clint Zammit is pleased to keep Jones around.
“Brodie is a local kid, great club person, and a fierce competitor,” Zammit said.
“He continues to develop and grow every time he plays.
“We are excited to see where he can get to over the next few years and beyond.”
