Patrick Mago’s opportunities have been limited but he has impressed enough at the South Sydney Rabbitohs to convince the Wigan Warriors to sign him.
Since 2017, Mago has played in 34 NRL games, 20 of which have come for the Rabbitohs.
Mago previously had stints at both the North Queensland Cowboys and Brisbane Broncos.
Rabbitohs CEO praised Mago for his efforts and contributions to the club.
“Patrick has made a great contribution to our Club over the past two seasons and we look forward to him playing a role in our charge towards winning the 2021 premiership,” said Solly.
“We wish him the best of luck in the UK.”
As Mago makes his move to Wigan for 2022, he looks forward to the opportunity that lies ahead of him.
“I’m very much looking forward to this opportunity at the biggest and best club in Super League,” said Mago.
“I cannot wait for the first time I pull on the jersey and give my all for the fans and this great Club.”
