It took some time for him to find a home but Tyrell Fuimaono has found one at the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The new deal for Fuimaono comes after a good run of form over the course of the 2021 season and will run for two seasons.

Fuimaono has played 56 NRL games to date, 30 of which have come over the last two seasons with the Dragons.

Dragons General Manager of Football Ben Haran says the club is looking forward to seeing Fuimaono develop even further.

“Tyrell has demonstrated that he is an extremely capable NRL player and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue his impressive development over the coming two seasons,” Haran said.

Being able to stay on for two more years is a welcome relief for Fuimaono who wants to focus on further consistency.

“Extending for another two years is special too, my mindset has constantly changed from when I first signed and throughout my time at the Dragons,” Fuimaono said.

“Football is absolutely my main focus in my life and I’m now very keen on finding consistency in my performances.”
