Jayden Campbell, a Gold Coast Titans junior and the son of a Titans legend has signed a new deal at the club.
Campbell, who has let his game do the talking in his NRL games to date, is the son of Titans legend Preston Campbell.
His four games to date, all of which have come this year, have seen calls for Campbell to be fullback for the Titans from 2022.
Titans coach Justin Holbrook said the new contract is just desserts for Campbell’s impressive NRL start.
“It’s great news for the club,” Holbrook said.
“Obviously Preston (Campbell) is his dad and our club’s number one player, but Jayden has earned this in his own right and shown in his four games of NRL what he is capable of.
“He’ll only get better over the next few years and it’s exciting to know that we’ve got a great local junior coming through who will be great for our club.”
