The Canterbury Bulldogs mean business in 2022 with their signings and Braidon Burns is the latest to join for next season.

Burns has been signed by the Bulldogs on a two-year deal and has previously played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

In that time, Burns played in 40 NRL games for the Rabbitohs and scored 10 tries in the process.

Still only 25, Burns has had a few injury problems that have restricted him from playing more regular football.

Despite that, Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton believes Burns is a handy addition to the club.

“There is a genuine feeling here at the Bulldogs that we are putting together a very exciting squad for next season and beyond,” Warburton said.

Adding depth in all positions is something that we have worked hard to achieve, and to be able to sign someone of Braidon’s ability and strike power is a major boost for our backline.

Braidon is a hard worker who wants the chance to succeed, and we are delighted that he has chosen to come to Belmore at a time when he is moving into the best stage of his career.”
