He served the Parramatta Eels well as a utility but in search of more chances, Will Smith has made the move to the Gold Coast Titans for 2022.

As the Titans undergo further minor roster changes, the reshuffle means that they needed a utility and a backup half and Smith fits their bill.

Titans coach Justin Holbrook has backed Smith to become a key player for them in 2022 and knows his experience will be invaluable.

“Will is an exciting player that has shown what he can do at NRL level,” Holbrook said.

“He has the talent to cover a number of spots and has shown through his career that he can slot in almost anywhere on-field.

“Will was a big part of the Eels push into finals this year and we’re excited that he will bring his skills and experience into our squad for 2022.”

Smith has played in 75 NRL games to date with the Penrith Panthers and the Eels, as well as appearing for the Indigenous All-Stars in 2016.
