It is a move that gives the South Sydney Rabbitohs some extra depth and one that gives Siliva Havili every chance to play.

Havili, still only 28, joins the Rabbitohs on a two-year deal from 2022.

With 104 NRL games to his name, Havili has played for the New Zealand Warriors, St George Illawarra Raiders, and Canberra Raiders.

Havili has also played for Tonga and New Zealand at the international level and his signing is one the Rabbitohs are pleased about.

“We’re really happy to have secured the services of Siliva for the next two seasons,” Rabbitohs Head of Football Mark Ellison said.

“He is a seasoned NRL player with plenty of International experience, he was part of the Raiders squad that won through to the 2019 Grand Final and he has worked previously with our Head Coach Jason Demetriou at the Dragons.”

“He is very strong defensively and a powerful carrier of the football and he will complement the players we already have in our forward pack.”
