The Wests Tigers will have a hooker they can build around, signing Api Koroisau on a two-year deal from 2023.
The deal has a mutual option for the club and player for a third season as well.
Koroisau, a live-wire hooker and premiership winner with the Penrith Panthers, will serve the Tigers well.
Koroisau has played in 145 NRL games to date with stints at the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Manly Sea Eagles.
The signing of Koroisau, a Fijian international and NSW Origin representative, is one the Tigers are thrilled with.
“We’re very pleased to have secured Apisai from the start of the 2023 season,” Sheens said.
“He not only adds a further level of experience in a key position of the spine, but he has shown himself to be successful alongside Head Coach Michael Maguire previously in his career.”
