The Dolphins came knocking but the Parramatta Eels have kept powerhouse prop Junior Paulo on a new long-term deal.

Paulo, who is a wrecking ball when he takes the line on, will stay with the Eels on a new four-year deal.

Already contracted for 2022, Paulo’s new deal with the Eels will begin in 2023.

An asset to both the club and his state NSW, Paulo’s ability to offload and ball-play at the line, shows his versatility for a big man.

“Junior is not just a skillful front-rower, he is an asset to the Club both on and off the field,” said Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill.

His selection into the NSW Origin team is a testament to his ability and the hard work he puts into his game.”

Since making his NRL debut in 2013, Paulo is fast approaching 200 NRL games.
