Currently hot property among NRL teams, Jeremiah Nanai will remain with the North Queensland Cowboys after re-signing for the 2023 season.
Bursting onto the scene as a hard-running and hard-working back-rower, the local Cairns product has quickly become a fan favourite, and rightfully so.
Joining the club via the academy, Nanai has progressed through the ranks.
The club is pleased to retain the talented youngster for another season.
“We are over the moon to be able to announce the extension of Jeremiah’s contract,” Cowboys General Manager of Football Micheal Luck said.
“As we’ve seen in the first eight games of his career, he is one of the most exciting talents in rugby league.
“We are thrilled to finalise the extension, which allows Jeremiah to concentrate solely on what is his first full season in the NRL and we will pick up long-term contract discussions later in the year.”
