Still yet to taste action in 2022 due to an ACL injury suffered in 2021, Maika Sivo will be at the Parramatta Eels in 2023 after taking up his player option.
Since making his debut for the Eels and in the NRL in 2019, Sivo’s rise has been evident for all to see.
A powerful, robust winger, Sivo’s trademark fend has left many players in his wake, culminating in plenty of tries since debuting.
With 68 NRL games to his name, Sivo will have the chance to add to that in coming weeks when he returns from his injury.
Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill says the club is pleased to keep Sivo around.
“Maika is incredibly powerful, he can score tries from seemingly impossible positions, and we’re very happy he has extended his time with us,” O’Neill said.
