Establishing himself as one of the elite front-rowers in the NRL, the Canberra Raiders will be seeing plenty more of Joseph Tapine after he signed a new long term deal with the club.
Already contracted for the 2023 season, Tapine’s new deal runs until the end of the 2027.
Since joining the Raiders in 2016, Tapine has played 145 NRL games for the club.
Tapine has previously played for the Newcastle Knights but with his Raiders future now sorted, the club believe he can continue his elite prop form.
“There’s no doubt Joe has had his best season in the NRL in 2022 and we’re very excited to have him re-commit to the club for the long-term,” Furner said.
“His development on and off the field has been something that we’re very proud of and we know he will continue to be one of the most valuable parts of our side in the future.
