Already contracted with the Manly Sea Eagles until the end of 2024, the club has extended the contract of back-rower Haumole Olakau’atu until the end of 2025.

Still only 24 years old, Olakau’atu has become a staple in the Manly back row and one of the club’s most consistent players.

His work rate and tenacity have Manly CEO Tony Mestrov excited to keep him around for an extra year in 2025.

“Haumole has taken his game to another level and is clearly one of the most destructive second-rowers in the NRL now,” Mestrov said.

“We are very pleased to have secured Haumole to the end of 2025.

“He is only 24-years-old and he will only improve even further in the years ahead.”

Olakau’atu is currently playing for Tonga at the Rugby League World Cup.
