The Wests Tigers have re-signed Tommy Talau for a further season.

Talau, who missed the entire 2022 season with an ACL injury, has so far played 35 NRL games.

It was the faith the Tigers showed him and the way they stuck by him that made Talau want to stay.

“The club has been so good to me and I want to repay that faith,” said Talau.

“It’s been a long, hard road for me, and we’ve all had to be patient with my comeback.”

Talau just wants to reach full fitness and play regular footy once more alongside his teammates.

“I can’t wait to get back to full fitness, and doing what I love doing, and that’s playing footy,” Talau continued.

“I have found it difficult to sit and watch for the past season but there’s now light at the end of the tunnel.

“I look forward to getting stuck into pre-season, and then back out there playing with my mates.”
