Already contracted for 2023, the South Sydney Rabbitohs have handed utility Siliva Havili with a two-year extension until the end of 2025.
Since making his debut back in 2014, Havili has played in 127 NRL games for the New Zealand Warriors, St George Illawarra Dragons, Canberra Raiders and now the Rabbitohs.
With 23 NRL games to date for the Rabbitohs and 15 tests for Tonga, Havili says he has found a home at South Sydney.
“The family and I have really enjoyed the move to Sydney, especially to this Club in South Sydney,” Havili said.
“The goal is to win a premiership and I truly believe we can do that here at the Rabbitohs in the next few years.
“The Members and fans have been great to me, as have the Club and the staff.
“It’s really exciting times and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve in the coming years.”
Rabbitohs Head of Football Mark Ellison was quick to commend Havili on his diligence at the club.
“Siliva had a great year for us in 2022, showing his utility value throughout the forward pack and providing punch for us whether he starts the game or comes off the interchange bench,” Mr Ellison said.
“We’re all excited to see him extend his time here at the Rabbitohs and we’re looking forward to seeing him rip in again in 2023 and beyond.”
