With the new season literally around the corner, the Sydney Roosters have re-signed both Victor Radley and Egan Butcher on new deals.

Radley, a fan favourite and an enforcer of the Roosters side, has signed a new deal that will run until the end of the 2027 season.

Still only 24, the Clovelly Crocodiles junior and English international, says he cannot wait to add to his 97 NRL games to date and says the Roosters are home for him.

“I can’t imagine myself playing anywhere else, so I’m happy to have my long-term future sorted here at the Roosters,” said Radley.

For Butcher, the younger brother of Nat Butcher, also at the Roosters, the sentiment is the same, having come through the Roosters Pathways Program.

“The Roosters mean a lot to me and I’m stoked that I’ll continue to be part of the team we have here,” said Butcher.

“I know that my best footy is still ahead of me and I’m keen to keep working with Robbo, the coaches and senior players we have here to keep improving every day.”

Just as pleased is Roosters coach Trent Robinson who knows that both add value and toughness to their forward pack.

“Victor and Egan are hard workers who love the tough stuff,” said Robinson.

They’re also good men who play an important role within our squad so it’s great to have them locked in to the Club’s long-term plans.”
