Without question, James Tedesco is one of the most influential Sydney Roosters players in the modern era and in rugby league itself.
Premierships, World Cup wins, Origin successes all to go with a litany of individual accolades, it is no wonder the Roosters opted to keep Tedesco around.
Tedesco will stay with the Roosters until the end of 2025 and could not be happier.
“I’m proud to lead this club and I’ve enjoyed my career here at the Roosters so far,” said Tedesco.
“We’re a close group and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with the team we have here to add to the Roosters’ rich history.”
Tedesco, the current Roosters captain, is a figure loved by fans, teammates and coach Trent Robinson, who offered him praise galore.
“Teddy is our leader and such a big part of our Club. He has an incredible work ethic and it’s a real honour to coach him,” said Robinson.
