Impressing since getting his chance with the Brisbane Broncos, the club have re-signed versatile back Jesse Arthars until the end of the 2026 season.

Arthars has so far played in four of the Broncos five wins this year with his three-year extension pleasing many Broncos fans.

Arthars made his debut for the Gold Coast Titans back in 2019 and joined the Broncos in 2020.

A stint at the New Zealand Warriors soon followed but then Arthars found himself back with the Broncos.

If you ask coach Kevin Walters, Arthars is a player that excites him and one he is impressed with so far in 2023.

“Jesse has been really impressive since he re-joined the club at the start of the pre-season from his year at the Warriors,” said Walters.

“He moves well across the ground and is good under the high ball and fits really well into the way we want to play as a team.

“Jesse also brings versatility and can play centre, wing and even fullback – this year we have asked him to fill a role on the wing for us in first grade and he has done a terrific job.
