The loss of Josh Hodgson put the Parramatta Eels in a bit of a pickle at the hooker position but they have shored up their depth with the signing of Joey Lussick.
Lussick is no stranger to the Eels system, having left at the end of the 2021 season to link up with Super League side, St Helens.
The signing of Lussick also takes some of the pressure off youngster Brendan Hands, who has performed strongly so far in first-grade.
With 120 games across the NRL and Super League, the signing of Lussick was one that made sense for the Eels.
“Joey will add quality and depth to our roster,” said General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill.
“He knows our systems and coaching style and will fit in right where he left off.”
