It was a long, long and drawn out saga but it has finally come to an end, with the Wests Tigers confirming the signing of Jarome Luai on a five-year deal.

Luai, who has the pedigree behind him on the back of three straight premierships with the Penrith Panthers, joins the Tigers as he looks ahead to his and his family’s future.

The deal will see Luai join the Tigers ahead of the 2025 season with the five-eighth still set to play for the Panthers in 2024.

The Tigers have been searching for a marquee half for a long time now and coach Benji Marshall believes the signing of Luai is one that can propel them towards better things.

“We are super excited to announce the signing of Jarome for the 2025 season on a five-year deal,” said Marshall.

“His experience as a genuine premiership-winning playmaker will be great for us and the future of our club.

“We love the way Jarome plays his footy and even better, he is a great person.”

Although Luai is excited about his move for 2025, he does want to focus on 2024, his final year for the Panthers.
