The display was one reminiscent of a Sydney Roosters display of old as club favourite Isabelle Kelly and Amber Hall ran riot to put the St George Illawarra Dragons to bed.

After injury robbed her of playing in 2023, Hall was back to her best, which was winning two premierships with the Brisbane Broncos and representing the Kiwi Ferns.

The Dragons would draw first blood on the back of a Raecene McGregor line-break. Some quick hands down the right then saw Kim Hunt score in the corner.

That lead would then last just five minutes as Hall scored the first of her two tries with a barnstorming run close to the line.

Hall then had a hand in the second Roosters try as she passed to Kelleher who found Kelly wide open to score with a simple stroll to the line.

But the Roosters were not done in the first half as with just fifteen seconds to go, Sammy Bremner hit a gap, spun and found Jayme Fressard to score another try this season.

Hall then scored her second with brute force and strength as she pushed defenders aside and shrugged them off.

The Dragons would hit back and no surprise, it would be Teagan Berry who had 2 line-breaks in quick succession, one of which being the try where she burst straight through.

Cometh the hour to put the game to bed and cometh the superstar of the Roosters, for Kelly would grab her second with a simple run-around on the left wing, burning the defenders for pace.

The Dragons loss was compounded by a trio of injuries with McGregor, Law and Tyla King all departing the field throughout the game.

Sydney Roosters 28 (Hall 2, Kelly 2, Fressard; Goals: Kelleher 4) def. St George Illawarra Dragons 8 (Hunt, Berry).
