A mooted move has come to fruition with the Dolphins signing their man, Daniel Saifiti from the Newcastle Knights.
With new coach Kristian Woolf to take over the mantle of head coach, Saifiti’s arrival will somewhat soften the blow of the retiring Jesse Bromwich.
Saifiti, who has 183 NRL games to his name plus appearances for NSW and Fiji, is a player the club believes still has plenty to achieve at 28.
“We are very eager to see what Daniel Saifiti is going to bring to our club,” said club CEO Terry Reader.
“It is probably impossible to replace someone who has had the amazing career of Jesse Bromwich, but we know we have done extremely well in bringing in Daniel to add to our depth.
