The Parramatta Eels are keen to keep their NRLW side together and have retained one more piece with the re-signing of Zali Fay.

Fay’s new deal with the Eels runs until the end of the 2026 season.

Fay most recently took out the 2024 NRLW try of the year at the Dally M Awards for her high-flying effort against the Roosters.

Eels General Manager of Football says the club is pleased to retain Fay for two more seasons.

“Zali is not only an exceptional athlete but also a vital part of our club’s culture,” he said.

“Her skills on the field and commitment to her fitness and the team make her a key player as we continue to strengthen our NRLW program.”

2025 will see Fay bring up her 25th NRLW game as she eyes off being a one-club player.

“Look, I’m absolutely stoked to be staying in Parradise,” said Fay.

“As a one-club player, wearing this jersey again means a lot to me, it would feel wrong to be anywhere else.”

Fay knows that the Eels NRLW side has plenty to build on in 2025 and she is pleased to be a part of it.

“I’m excited that I get this opportunity, it’s been a couple of years in the making but I feel as if we are closer than ever,” continued Fay.

“This season is definitely something I’m looking forward to and so should our fans.”
