It should come as no surprise that James Tedesco has re-signed with the Sydney Roosters, inking an extension that will see him stay in the Tricolours until the end of 2026.
Now a club stalwart, Tedesco has achieved many things and been the cornerstone through several eras of change at the Roosters.
Tedesco said the club is now like family to him and with seven years to date at the Roosters, he looks forward to adding to his time.
“The Roosters have been my home for the past seven years, and I’m excited to continue playing for this incredible Club,” said Tedesco.
“I’m proud to represent the Roosters and there’s a strong bond among the group we have here, so I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together in 2025 and beyond.”
With 251 NRL games to his name, 161 of which have come with the Roosters, Tedesco has won two premierships, a Dally M Medal and is a six-time winner of the Jack Gibson Medal.
Someone who has been there for much of his Roosters career is coach Trent Robinson and he believes that Tedesco will continue to be a leader and set the standard.
James is not only a phenomenal player but also a leader who sets the standard for professionalism and performance, and I’m really pleased that his experience will continue to benefit the team around him,” said Robinson.
