One of the most promising prospects in the Newcastle Knights NRLW ranks in Evah McEwen, has signed a new deal until the end of 2027 with the club.

Still only 18, McEwen’s rise in 2024 has been rapid and is only going to get even bigger.

Coming through the club’s pathways and representative systems, 2024 saw McEwen debut in NRLW in round 9 and play for both the NSW U19s and the Samoan national side.

Also Tarsha Gale Cup Player of the Year, the club know that McEwen has a huge future ahead of her.

“Evah is in the top echelon of young NRLW players and has an exciting future,” nib Newcastle Knights Director of Football Peter Parr said.

“Despite her youth, she has already handled the challenges of international and NRLW football.

“It is wonderful news for the Knights, that one of the most prodigious talents in the game has committed to the club for at least another three years.”
