One of the elite props of the NRLW, Elsie Albert, has re-signed with the Parramatta Eels for two more seasons until the end 0f 2026.

In addition to Albert, the Eels also retained Rosemarie Beckett until the end of 2026 and trio Mia Middleton, Madeline Jones and Bree Eales until the end of 2025.

Since joining the Eels, Albert has made a tremendous impact and helped the club in community roles, ones she is looking forward to continuing off field.

“Parramatta is my family away from home, and I am so pleased that the Club has provided me with the opportunity to continue my rugby league journey in the NRLW,” Albert said.

“I have really enjoyed my time at Parramatta as both a player and my role with the community, and I am excited to return in 2025 and build on what we produced this year under coach, Steve Georgallis.”

Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill praised Albert’s efforts on and off the field as immeasurable.

“Elsie has made an immeasurable contribution to the Parramatta Eels, and her announcement as the Club’s NRLW Player of the Year this year was testament to her contribution both on and off field,” O’Neill said.

“Elsie gives 100 per cent in everything that she does. Her commitment to the game is inspiring and a credit to her family and the people of her homeland in Papua New Guinea.”

O’Neill was also pleased to see four other players remain at the club.

“The Parramatta Eels are delighted that Rosemarie, Bree, Madeline and Mia have decided to stay at the Eels,” O’Neill added.

We are proud that our NRLW players are committed to the Club and to each other”.
