A huge boost ahead of the Gold Coast Titans NRLW campaign has come in the form of star half/hooker Lauren Brown extending her contract for a further two seasons.

Her new deal will see Brown remain at the club until 2027 as she chases that elusive NRLW premiership for the Titans.

Brown was a pivotal figure in the club’s charge to the 2023 NRLW grand final and Titans coach Karyn Murphy believes Brown is good enough to help the Titans get there again.

“I’m very excited Loz will remain a Titan long-term,” Murphy said.

“She’s a genuine game breaker with her ability to clinch the big moments and is one of the game’s premier playmakers, having been a staple for both the Maroons and Jillaroos in the last few years.”

Murphy also praised Brown’s versatility and her ability to lead the next generation of talents.

“She has been a big part of our side with her ability to play in both the halves and at hooker and is a huge role model for our young and upcoming players in our squad and pathways system,” Murphy continued.

“I know how much she loves the Gold Coast and how determined she is to bring success here, which is why I’m extremely pleased to have her extend with us for the next three seasons.”
