He may be currently out of action for the Gold Coast Titans due to a back issue but the club has ensured that Keano Kini is a part of the squad for the long-term.

Kini has signed a new deal with the Titans until the end of 2030, a true sign of faith in his ability.

After he cemented his spot as the club’s fullback, Kini, who was the 2024 Paul Broughton Medallist, came through the club’s pathways before he debuted in 2023.

Titans coach Des Hasler praised the retention of Kini and knows he is an important piece for the Titans club.

“Keano is still only in the early stages of his NRL career, but he’s already showed that he’s capable of having a huge impact on games,” he said.

“He’s already represented his country at an International level.

“Keano’s professionalism and attitude has made him both a valued and well-liked member of the club both on and off field.

“Family is very important to Keano and he and his partner have just welcomed their first child and it’s great that they’ll be able to continue to raise their family here on the Coast.”
