Fresh off a solid performance last night for his current club, the Newcastle Knights, Kai Pearce-Paul has a new home from next year as he heads to the Wests Tigers.
Pearce-Paul will sign a three-year deal until the end of the 2028 season, as the English international looks to add to his 33-game tally both this year and his future years at the Tigers.
A winner of the Super League grand final during his time with Wigan, Pearce-Paul has adjusted well to the NRL and has had previous comparisons to Sonny Bill Williams.
With offloading prowess and an imposing frame, Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall looks forward to what Pearce-Paul can do in Tigers colours from next season.
“Kai is a powerful, mobile forward who really suits what we’re building here,” said Marshall.
“He’s not only a great athlete but also a great person, and he’ll bring strong qualities to our team.
“I’m really looking forward to coaching him and seeing the impact he’ll have on our squad.”

For the man himself, he is excited about the 2026 move to the Tigers and is excited to work under Marshall.
“I am excited to join the Wests Tigers in 2026. It is a fantastic opportunity, and I cannot wait,” said Pearce-Paul.
“I grew up watching Benji and have always looked up to him, so being coached by him will be pretty special.”
