Not too long ago, Lauren Dam re-signed with the Brisbane Broncos for 2025. Now, six months after that, she has put pen to paper with the club for season 2026 as well.

Dam, who is a Dubbo junior, has been with the Broncos since 2023 and with 17 NRLW games to date – seven of which came last season – the utility back is excited to continue her time at the Broncos.

“It shows that the Club believes in me and that we can build on something bigger,” Dam said.

“I can really focus on getting my role right for the team without wondering if I’m going to be back the next season.

“I’ve gained a lot of confidence, so it’s pretty easy to go out there and just play because they’ve backed me through it.”

Dam was right in the thick of it as the Broncos took out the minor premiership in 2024 despite losing the grand final but she believes they can do one better in 2025.

“The growth that we’re trying to expand on is pretty exciting,” Dam continued.

“The end goal is to definitely win the Premiership this year and not fall short.

“I don’t think there’s another group I’d rather be around and I think we can really do it this year.”
