The Wests Tigers have a trio of new signings for their NRLW team with Namoe Gesa, Leah Ollerton and Shaniece Monschau all signing on until the end of the 2027 season.
Gesa, who started with the Brisbane Tigers U19s side and finished with their BMD Premiership side – winning two premierships in the process – is ecstatic to have signed her very first NRLW contract.
“I’m so excited to have signed my first NRLW contract, it’s something I’ve worked really hard to achieve,” said Gesa.
“I’m looking forward to joining the Wests Tigers and continuing my development alongside some of the best players in the game.”

Monschau, an Auckland-born second-rower, was a mainstay of the Bulldogs inaugural NRLW campaign, earning a call-up to the Kiwi Ferns setup during the Pacific Championships.
With a new opportunity ahead of her, Monschau is pleased at this next phase of her career.
“It’s been a big season for me and the goal now is to keep building on that,” said Monschau.
“I think the Wests Tigers is a great fit in helping me achieve that. I’m excited to be a part of this group and play alongside some really experienced girls.
“It’s a great time to be involved with the Club with everything that’s happening around the NRLW squad and I’m looking forward to working with Sandy again.”

Also keen to make an impression is Leah Ollerton who was captain of the Newcastle Knights Tarsha Gale Cup side with the dummy-half seeing good things happening for the Tigers club.
“There’s a lot of positive things happening at the Tigers, I’m looking forward to contributing to that and taking my game to another level,” said Ollerton.
“I can’t wait to get started in pre-season and show what I can bring to the squad.”
Tigers NRLW coach Craig Sandercock is pleased to see the young trio at the club from 2026.
“Leah, Shaniece and Namoe are some of the best emerging talent in women’s rugby league and players we’re really excited to welcome to the Club,” said Sandercock.
