The Sydney Roosters have announced their two latest NRLW additions with Tatum Bird and Keighley Simpson to join the club for the 2026 season.

Bird, who comes from the NSW Waratahs Super Rugby W program, is a player that the Roosters eyed off for her composure, pace and overall skill.

Also signing on with the club is Simpson, who played in several NRL games for the Knights in 2025, her debut NRLW season.

In that time, she scored four tries across three games, which impressed the Roosters’ brass.

Simpson, originally from New Zealand, also has experience playing both rugby union and rugby sevens.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Tatum and Keighley to our program,” said Roosters NRLW coach John Strange.

“They bring skill, pace and professionalism that will strengthen our squad as we continue to build towards the 2026 season.”
